About this Pooja
During Ganesh Chaturthi in Bhadrapad, the Shri Parthiv Mahaganapati Pooja is performed with great devotion. A clay idol of Lord Ganesha is created and worshipped with rituals and offerings. The pooja involves chanting of mantras, offering modaks, and prayers to invoke the deity’s blessings. The ceremony concludes with visarjan, immersing the idol in water, symbolizing the cycle of life and rebirth.

When is this Pooja Performed?
The Shri Parthiv Mahaganapati Pooja is performed during Ganesh Chaturthi, which typically falls in the month of Bhadrapad (August or September). Specifically, it begins on the fourth day (Chaturthi Tithi) of the bright half of Bhadrapad. The last day of this festival is Ananta Chaturdashi which is 14th day of bright half of Bhadrapad.

This Pooja typically lasts for one hour, depending on the preparations done before staring of the pooja and speed of the host to perform the ritual.
How many Gurujis are Required?
Usually, one knowledgeable Guruji is sufficient to perform the Satyanarayan Pooja.

This pooja is performed one day in a year on Ganesh Chaturthi.

In-Home Pooja
Under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable Guruji, host performs the pooja in their home. Host may buy the kit from OUR SHOP required for performing this pooja.
In-Home Pooja
- Choose a pooja: Select the desired pooja or ritual from the website.
- Fill out the registration form: Provide necessary details such as name, Gotra, mobile number, email address etc.
- Mention Sankalp: Choose the Sankalp (intention) for which the pooja is being performed.
- Mention Date and Time: Choose a date and time for the pooja to be performed by the Guruji. Its done in the registration form.
- Pay the pooja fees: Make the payment for the pooja through online modes like credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Buy Pooja Kit if needed: You can purchase pooja kit along with the booking of the pooja.
- Confirmation of Pooja: You will receive confirmation from our team after confirming with the available Guruji.
- Puja performance: Guruji will visit the Host’s premises to perform the the pooja on the date and time mentioned in the registration form.
- Prasad Delivery: After performing the pooja Guruji will bless the home and the host, and hand over the Prasad of the ritual to the host.
Online Pooja
Under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable Guruji, host performs the pooja on Live Video Call. Host has to make all the preparations. Host can order the pooja kit from OUR SHOP to perform pooja.

- Fill out the registration form: Provide necessary details such as name, Gotra, mobile number, email address.

- Pooja performance: The Selected Guruji performs the puja on online with the host at the date and time mentioned in the registration form.
- Prasad Delivery: Prasad after performing the pooja will be sent to the host’s address if its part of the ritual.
Video Pooja (DIY)
This pooja is performed by the host independently by watching the video and following the instructions. Host can order the pooja Samagri kit separately from OUR SHOP

- Visit Video Pooja Playlist : A Button is provided with the link to the playlist of pooja. Host can visit various sections of the playlist covering different sections of pooja.
- Buy pooja kit if needed: Host collects the required samagri by himself or can order the pooja kit from here.
- Pooja Dakshina: After performing the pooja, If the host wishes, may donate the Dakshina voluntarily. Link is provided in the description box of the video pooja.

Does host need to keep fast for this Pooja?
Generally, Fasting until the pooja is performed is recommended. However if the host of the pooja is not comfortable fasting, its not mandatory. Host has to take care if he/she has medical conditions which might restrict fasting. We highly recommend to consult your family physician before you decide to fast.
What is included in Pooja Fees?
Depending on the mode of the pooja selected by the host the fees varies.
Pooja fees include
- Remuneration to Guruji/Gurujis.
- Travel cost of Guruji when applicable
- Our platform fee
If I buy Samagri kit, do I need to buy anything additional?
Most of the essential material is covered in the base pooja kit box and the add-ons those are offered with the pooja kit.
If the host chooses not to buy the add-ons from the site, it will be host’s responsibility to buy those material separately.
If host wants to buy additional samagri /material as per their choice ( like decorative material, garlands etc.) host can buy it separately and use it during the pooja.
What should host wear during Pooja?
Generally Indian Traditional attire which is comfortable to wear by the host during the pooja is highly recommended. However host may were clothes of his/her choice as long as it maintains the decorum of the occasion and it is socially acceptable. Generally it is advised not to wear any black color clothes or apparels during the auspicious occasion except Makar Sankranti.
